Summary: In the last 37 years of travelling in both the US and here in beautiful British Colombia, we have never rated a motel as highly as we have for Fireweed. It was perfect in every single way so stop looking now if your looking for a place to stay and book this wonderful little gem.

Summary: This motel was old but was super clean. I asked for a covid clean room because I have autoimmune illness and they certainly did a grest job giving me a clean room. The staff was friendly and helpful with some recommendations for eating out. The surround area was not so clean but that is because of the gravel and sand laid down for the snow. Definity not modern but we were happy with what we got.

Summary: Very friendly and efficient reception personnel. Nice room and king size comfortable bed. Able to park in front of the room. A bit of footsteps noise from other. Travelers but not really bothersome at all. We had a pet with us and it was not an issue ever.

Summary: Great staff, my check in was quick and they were very friendly. Parking lot was very small and hard to maneuver once it got full and noise was a bit of a problem from other guests but other than that our stay was great and reasonably priced for a long weekend

Summary: Amelia was fabulous! I was in town for a friend's wedding and needed a late check in. Amelia went above and beyond to make sure my sister and I had our room secured for the night. The biggest surprise was the bathroom. Super fancy shower and renovated bathroom that was amazing. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were incredible. I will be choosing this motel everytime I travel to Smithers!

Summary: Bed was okay, but pillows were mushy. Bathroom had been updated (give that a 4), but the room was very sad. Three pieces of mismatched furniture, the kind you’d get at a yard sale. Shabby curtains. AC unit (freestanding and connected to window) put out little cool air, and sounded like a car engine every time it turned on.
